Air Canada Centre
Toronto’s Air Canada Centre (The ACC) was built in 1999, primarily to replace the aging Maple Leaf Gardens, which had served as Toronto’s primary entertainment venue for close to 80 years. The Air Canada Centre became the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey club, and the Toronto Raptors NBA basketball franchise. The Toronto Rock lacrosse team also calls the Air Canada Centre its home.

The ACC is host to many Toronto attractions. World Wrestling Federation events, Disney-on-Ice Shows, and a variety of music concerts play regularly. The Centre also features the 5,500-seat Best Buy theatre, which provides a venue for smaller concerts and performances.
Seating for Air Canada Centre events is 18,800 for Toronto Maple Leaf hockey games, 19,800 for basketball games, and over 20,000 for some concerts. Tours of the Air Canada are conducted during mid day. If tours of Toronto are of interest to you, you'll enjoy many different ways to experience Toronto including by street, water and air.
The ACC is located at 20 Bay Street in downtown Toronto. Conveniently located within the Entertainment district and near the Financial district, the Air Canada Centre places visitors near many fine Toronto restaurants and shopping boutiques. The ACC is only short walk from the Harbourfront where you can take a Toronto Harbour cruise through the Toronto Islands. The CN Tower and Toronto Convention Center are right next door. Numerous trade shows and conferences are held yearly at the convention centre on Front Street. The Hockey Hall of Fame and the Eaton Shopping Center are also close by.
