CN Tower Events

cn towerThere’s a lot to do at the CN Tower and it is often the location of spectacular events. Perhaps the most spectacular CN Tower event in recent years was Dar Robinson’s daredevil stunt. Robinson slid down a cable hung from the observation deck all the way to the ground. Earlier he had parachuted off of the tower, deploying his parachute only 300 feet from the ground. In past events, hang gliders have been launched from atop the observation deck.

WWF-Canada CN Tower Climb

Every year, the World Wildlife Foundation holds a well known stair climbing event at the Tower. The event features races for groups and for individual members of the public. The WWF sponsors the event to generate pledges and donations to the WWF charity. Registration for the stair climb is available at the WWF website and at several retail store locations in downtown Toronto.

New meeting and convention facilities have been built at the base of the tower, and provide venues for events throughout the year.
