Toronto Entertainment District
Toronto has several communities that provide particular types of activities of interest to Torontonians, and to visiting tourists. The Entertainment District in particular is an area in the west side of Downtown Toronto where a large number of theatres, sports venues, hotels, nightclubs, and restaurants are located. Formerly a warehouse building area, it was restored and now is abuzz with events and activities. It is the center of Toronto nightlife.
This intensely populated area allows visitors to see more and it creates a better environment for Toronto’s creative community. The richness of the theatre district gives it a distinct culture that visitors will appreciate.
