You'll find the Famous Players Colossus Theatres Vaughn location just west of the intersection of Highway 400 and Highway 7 in the northwestern area of Toronto. Not far to the east on the other side of highway 400 is AMC 30 Theatres.
As one of North Toronto's most recognizable landmarks, the Famous Players Colossus is easily seen when travelling northbound on highway 400 at Highway 7. The structure resembles a giant flying saucer. It houses 18 movie theatre screens and seats over 5,000 movie goers. Also available here are Imax movies with one 350 seat 3D Imax theatre. This huge movie theatre complex offers a cafe, video arcade, party rooms and fast food restaurants.
