Imax Downtown Toronto The Scotiabank Theatres (formerly Paramount Scotiabank Theatres) are located on Richmond Street a few blocks east of University Avenue amidst the Queen Street West shopping, fashion, nightclub, and entertainment district. There are plenty of great restaurants, bistros, close by.

The theatre is easy to find with its giant Rubik's Cube perched up on the roof.

Scotiabank theatres offers 13 movie screens and one IMAX theatre. IMAX is showing Monsters vs. Aliens currently.

Empire TheatresThe movie theatres are located on the third level of the building above a large Chapters bookstore. One of Toronto's longest escalators (4 stories) takes you up to the theatre area after you've purchased your tickets. The restaurant there offers excellent views of John Street and the buildings in the area.
