Ontario Science Centre
The Ontario Science Center (OSC) is located just 6 miles north of downtown Toronto on Don Mills Road. The center opened in 1969 and continues to entertain and educate youngsters from around the world. Ontario Science Center tickets are part of the Toronto Citypass ticket package.
The OSC offers 5 different levels of exhibits. Kidspark, a new area introduced in 2003, is a “learn-from-play” space for children eight and under. Children can create their own music and solve math problems. Mindworks helps children understand the human mind, communication, and delves into issues like IQ tests. The Science Center offers programs for schools and teachers.

In 2006, the Center underwent a $40 million dollar renovation which transformed almost a third of the public areas. New exhibits include Titanica, and the Idea Gallery. In the front yard, kids can have more adventures climbing on boulders and navigating the water maze.
The purpose of the OSC has always been to entertain and educate. The exhibits have evolved, keeping pace with new scientific marvels and facts. The center also features the only IMAX Omnimax theatre in Ontario. Tickets to the Ontario Science Center are available on location, or as part of the Toronto Citypass ticket booklet.
