The Guvernment Nightclub
The Guvernment’s Kool Haus dance hall on Toronto’s waterfront frequently hosts live events for the younger crowd. Music played at the Guvernment includes Funk/Soul, Hip-Hop/Rap, House, Lounge, R&B, and Reggae. Formerly called the Warehouse, the Guvernment has room for 4000 clubbers. The main room is a 22,000 square foot space with a state-of-the-art computer-driven sound system, full colour strobe-lights, and a full colour laser system. There are several bars, and a rooftop patio. Dress is casual, but no running shoes or athletic wear is permitted.

The Republik Nightclub
Toronto’s Republik Nightclub is another amazing dance environment with extensive electronic equipment. The main room has 28-foot ceilings, 12 rotating plasma televisions, LED lights, 1000 square feet of fiber optic curtains, full color lasers, a system that can pump out 200,000 watts of sound and an extensive array of fireworks. Partygoers at the Republik can enjoy several well-known International and Canadian Djs, or chill in the two additional lounges.

AfterLife
In the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment district is the Afterlife nightclub. This club is divided into 4 levels: The Garden of Eden, Paradise Lounge, Limbo Lounge, and Underworld. The music is mainly R&B and Hip-Hop, with some Reggae on Saturday, and some House on Sunday. The rooftop patio offers a great view of the Toronto skyline. Afterlife is open Thursday to Saturday.
