Toronto Sports
Sports Fans won’t be wanting for great sports events to watch in Toronto. Major sports teams like the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Toronto Argonauts have regular games at the Air Canada Center and the Rogers Centre (Skydome). Other major sporting events, such as the Bell Canadian Open Golf Championships and the Canadian Open Tennis Championships, are held just north of the city. In early July, Toronto hosts the Toronto Grand Prix, which draws the world’s top Indy racers. The race takes place on the west side of downtown Toronto near the waterfront. Tickets to sporting events in Toronto can be purchased online or at the various stadiums and venues.

Baseball
The Toronto Blue Jays begin their 2007 season playing at the Rogers Centre. Formerly the Skydome, this facility is a marvel and contains one of the world’s largest Jumbotron screens. The CN Tower looms above, and if the weather permits, the roof of the Rogers Centre Skydome stadium is often opened. The upper seating areas afford some lovely views of Lake Ontario.
CFL Football
The Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts will begin their 2007 season in August. Book your tickets now for a great game of Canadian football at the Rogers Centre or for the 2007 Grey Cup Game.
NHL Hockey
The Toronto Maple Leafs are one of the oldest hockey clubs in North America. Tickets to Maple Leaf games are very hard to obtain, but if you know the dates of your Toronto visit, you can order hockey tickets online in advance. There are few sporting events that surpass a Maple Leaf hockey game for excitement. The club’s rivalries with the Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators are intense, and exciting for fans. See also: the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Basketball
Some of the NBA’s very best players have donned a Toronto Raptors’ uniform. The current team is playing an exciting brand of basketball. Toronto Raptors tickets are easier to obtain than Maple Leaf tickets, so some great seats are likely to be available for your visit.

The Toronto Grand Prix, Canadian Open Golf, and Canadian Open Tennis events are held once a year in late summer. Check for tickets to these events at Ticketmaster.ca and make your visit even more exceptional.
