Canada’s largest outdoor water amusement park, WildWater Kingdom is located in the northwest end of the city about 12 miles away from downtown Toronto. Famous rides include Midnight Express, The Abyss, Nightrider, Cyclone, Devil's Drop, White Lightning, and the Cliff.
Take a relaxing dip in the lazy river or a thrilling ride down a waterslide. The half-million gallon wave-pool can generate four-and-a-half foot whitecaps, while tube slides and 7-story high-speed slides offer every kind of thrill you’d want. The Aqua Twist and Shotgun Slides will exhilarate you with twisting rides followed by an 8-foot plunge into a pool. The park also has an outdoor section where live entertainment events and barbecues take place throughout the summer. Baseball batting cages, mini-golf and a water climbing-wall will keep the family busy and having fun. Restaurant and food kiosks on site provide food and beverages.
Other waterparks in Toronto include Ontario Place’s Soak City, and Wonderland’s Splash Works. The Delta Chelsea Hotel has the largest indoor waterslide, located on Gerrard St in Downtown Toronto.
