Psyclone

PsycloneThe Psyclone is an amazing theme park ride. This giant pendulum swing is perhaps the most watched ride at Canada's wonderland. People laugh in amazement as 32 people sitting on what is a giant ring suspended from a steel post speed through the air at impressive speeds. You'll definitely be getting some hang time when you ride the Psyclone.

The structure is about 54 feet high and the pendulum suspended from the cross beam swings back and forth many times. Oh, by the way, the wheel or ring also turns at the same time as it swooshes back and forth. You can hear the wheel that passengers sit on swooshing through the air hence it's name, a play on the word Cyclone. The swing's highest point in it's arc is about 70 feet above the ground, provides plenty of scary thrill.

The beauty of Psyclone is that lineups are quick. The ride takes 40 at a time and each ride might only last 6 minutes.
