Thunder Run Roller Coaster

Thunder Run Roller CoasterJust like the Vortex Coaster, Thunder Run climbs Wonder Mountain. Thunder Run Coaster makes two passes through Wonder Mountain at the center of the park. The ride reaches a top height of 33 feet (10.1m) along a track of 1,083 feet or (330.1m) achieving speeds of 40 mph (54.4 kph).

Before Thunder Run Roller Coaster was moved inside Wonder Mountain, park visitors could walk a pathway that led to an observation deck on the top of the mountain. The walkway was closed to make way for mechanical equipment needed for the operation of the mountain, and the walkway level that went behind Victoria Falls was also closed in the mid-1990s.
